connecting professional and spiritual life

At Bridgepoint we are seeking to connect our personal, professional and spiritual lives and to develop leaders and emerging leaders from the inside out. We do this by cultivating a different kind of leadership — personal leadership. Our Bridgepoint initiative will provide opportunities and environments to help you successfully balance your time, relationships, and work by developing an integrated life and worldview.

"HOW THEN SHOULD WE WORK?"
with Hugh Whelchel, President of The Institute of Faith, Work & Economics.

Five evening sessions with live talks from Hugh Whelchel!

Have you ever felt like what you do the majority of the week at work may not have any value to God or the world?

Many people struggle to find any meaning in their work. Many think work is just a place to earn a paycheck and wait for retirement when they can then contribute to something meaningful.

Businessman Hugh Whelchel was that sort of person, but deep down in his heart he knew there had to be more. His thorough biblical investigation reveals the eternal significance of work within the grand story of God’s purpose and plan throughout history.

In these sessions you will discover:

  • The rich biblical meaning of work—from Genesis to Revelation

  • The difference between work, vocation, and calling as a Christian

  • The history of the Christian view on work

  • The call to “reweave shalom” through your job

There will be a $25 one-time charge to cover the cost of the book and workbook.  Refreshments will be provided each week--donations will be accepted, but not required.
