John Mizerak is the Executive Director of Ignite Purpose, a business consulting company that helps businesses, churches and non-profits define and refine their God-given purpose, thus transforming culture while igniting their life and work.

A successful businessman in northern Virginia, John started a printing company in 1987, and over a period of 20 years grew the business exponentially as he added marketing and digital services to his offerings.

At the 20-year mark, John strongly sensed he should sell the business and cash out, but instead decided to move the business and re-brand it. Over the next three years the company steadily declined and John's wife of over 20 years, Molly, developed an aggressive form of brain cancer that took her life within three months.

John was just shy of 50 years old, his wife of 28-years was gone, his kids were grown and moved away, his life-long business had failed and he was living month-to-month in a rental house he couldn’t afford. 

A few weeks after Molly died, John's insurance agent called, informing him that he had $100,000 coming from Molly’s life insurance policy.  Once he received the check he paused and asked God, “What would Molly want done with this money?” 

At the breakfast, John will share how God answered that question and the journey across the world it took him on to discover and ignite his purpose in life.
