We live in a Me-My World. Look at me, affirm me, respect me, admire me. My rights, my identity, my health, my income, my truth, my reality.

We all to some degree wear these chains of a self-centered, narcissistic culture. The problem is as singer Jackson Browne put it, “No matter how fast I run I can never seem to get away from me.”

With Jesus birth, which we just celebrated, an Eternal Bright Light entered the World. The one who unlocks the chains and sets us free. Jesus himself proclaimed, “For God so loved the World that he gave…” Gave of Himself for others, including death.

Join us for this wonderful four-week series with live talks from Spencer Brand. Based on the letter to the Philippians in the New Testament, we will learn how to bless others and in the process, be blessed ourselves. Topics include:

About our presenter...
Spencer Brand is the founder and current President of the Endowment for Community Leadership, a faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to the development of the next generation of American leadership.  

Spencer graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Master’s Degree in Public Affairs and has held senior positions in the Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Dept. of Labor and the Dept. of the Interior in Washington, D.C.

Spencer has also been a consultant and speaker for almost 50 years, serving both public and private organizations on multiple continents in the areas of leadership, strategic effectiveness and interpersonal relationships.

Spencer is married with four children and now spends much of his time serving his wife, Barbara, as she battles a serious and long-term case of Multiple Sclerosis.
